Graduate Student Orientation for the Academic Year 2019

On 8th August 2019, the Faculty of Graduate Studies organized the graduate student orientation event for the academic year 2019 at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya. Professor Dr. Patcharee Lertrit, Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies, gave a brief information about the event. Professor Dr. Banjong Mahaisawariya, Acting for President of Mahidol University, delivered an opening remark for the event and gave a welcome speech to new graduate students. Later, he gave awards to the students who received distinguished thesis award and distinguished innovative thesis award for the academic year 2019.

Next, Professor Dr. Patcharee Lertrit, Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies, gave awards to the students who had an outstanding academic performance for the academic year 2017. Moreover, the administrative board of the Faculty of Graduate Studies provided information about postgraduate education. Associate Professor Dr. Varaporn Akkarapatumwong, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, gave a lecture on education and thesis. Assistant Professor Dr. Somchai Trakarnrung, Deputy Dean for Educational Management, delivered a lecture on English language development. Assistant Professor Dr. Sorachai Srisuma, Deputy Dean for Student's Skill Development, gave a lecture on student services. Later, a team from Graduate Student Council and Organization, Mahidol University delivered a lecture on student activities and tips for success in education.

In the event, there was an award ceremony for the students who won Multimedia Contest for creating a video clip and for the students from Graduate Student Council and Organization, Mahidol University who participated in activities for the academic year 2018. Later, Professor Dr. Patcharee Lertrit, Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies, gave a lecture on educational planning for students to finish their study on time.
