Mandatory Graduation Rules

Do not bring weapons, sharp objects, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, or any illegal drugs into the ceremony area.

Do not bring luggage, bags, or any kind of sacks into the ceremony area.

Do not wear watches, sacred threads, or accessories on the wrists, ankles, fingers of either hand, or head, such as decorative hair clips.

Do not bring mobile phones, communication devices or other electronic devices, handheld fans, cameras, or other items into the auditorium.

Do not bring food, snacks, or drinks of any kind into the auditorium.

Do not carry keys or coins of any kind, including in trouser or skirt pockets.

Do not keep long nails; nails must be trimmed short.

Do not wear nail polish, gel nails, clear coatings, nail art, stickers, or nail extensions.

Do not wear unnatural false eyelashes, perfume, or wigs. Do not attach flowers or ornaments to the academic gown or wear a floral crown while wearing it.

Do not wear dark-tinted lenses. Eyeglass frames and temples must be black, silver, navy blue, brown, or gray, without patterns or a glossy finish; rimless frames are also permitted. Only clear contact lenses are allowed; enlarged-eye lenses are prohibited.

Do not smoke in the royal ceremony area.
