Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between MU and the Sports Authority of Thailand

On 24 January 2019, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mahidol University (MU) and Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) was held at the 25th Floor Meeting Room, His Majesty the King 7th Birthday Anniversary Building, Sports Authority of Thailand. This MOU had set out opportunities for academic and research collaboration and services focusing on sports knowledge and innovations that both enhanced the health quality and healthcare among Thai people and optimized the potential and professionality of the operational personnel in sports industry. The MOU was signed by Mr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor of SAT on behalf of SAT and Asst. Prof. Thatchavee Leelawat, Ph.D., Acting Vice President for Information Technology and Kanchanaburi Campus, for Acting President of Mahidol University and Prof. Dr. Patcharee Lertrit, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies on behalf of Mahidol University. Participants in the ceremony included administrators, the faculty and representatives from FGS, those from the Faculties of Engineering, Social Science and Humanities, Public Health, Physical Therapy, Institute of Nutrition, College of Sports Science and Technology, and National Doping Control Centre. The collaborative plans for both organizations included employee development, database development and management in sports, environmentally friendly sports fields, and development for National Training Center. This event was an important step that would drive the SAT's mission and strategies forward for its readiness for change.
