Definitions, development and evaluation of rehabilitation theory; conceptual and theoretical foundation in rehabilitation; roles of theories in the development and application of knowledge in rehabilitation; historical, current, and emerging theories, models and frameworks in rehabilitation; identification of modern rehabilitation theories, keys issues and trends affecting prosthetics and orthotics; application and integration of rehabilitation theories in prosthetics and orthotics; identification of gaps and opportunities using evidence-based practices and systematic approach to paradigmatic methodological issues and research areas in prosthetics and orthotics incorporating modern rehabilitation theories

Students will select and critique a speci{c theory related to their research interests. Before the presentation, each student will bring the selected paper to discuss any questions with the lecturer and other students in the class.
The program allows the general public and prospective students to enhance theirs skills (Re-skill, Up-skill, and Add-skill), by joining the courses.
