FGS New Year 2019 Party

On December 26, 2018, the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) organized its annual office merit-making ceremony and New Year's party in the first floor's lobby at the Faculty of Graduate Studies Building, Mahidol University (Salaya Campus). The ceremony was led by Prof. Dr. Patcharee Lertrit, M.D., Dean of Faculty of Graduate Studies, and attended by administrators, the faculty, staff, and honorable guests. During the morning's ceremony, nine monks were invited to attend the merit-making and chanting, including almsgiving, robe offering, and pouring of ceremonial water. To the monks, the FGS offered sang-ka-pan, consisting of useful basic commodities and medicine. The monks chanted blessings and sprinkled holy water on all administrators, the faculty, and staff who were present in the ceremony. Followed by the ceremony, a New Year's Party was held under the theme "Enchanted Yesterdays, Happy Days to All." The luncheon party was a success with GR Band, retro costumes contests, and lucky draw with numerous prizes.
