Who should join this course?

This course is designed for NGO staffs and other interested individuals who need to reskill, upskill or deep-skill for their performance at work and to upgrade their knowledge. The course is suitable for those who are not ready to attend the full time Master's degree program but would like to have training at Master's level.

The courses are from currently running Master's programs in Mahidol University On successful completion of the course, student can get the completion certificate and grading transcript. The credit hours can be later transferred for relevant post-graduate studies within 5 years.

Leadership and Health Team Development (2 credits)

Course content :
Concepts and theory for leader and leaderships; leadership skill; leadership development, role of the situation/context in leadership theory and practice; innovative leadership concepts in organization; models of leadership into personal approach; the role of empowerment in leadership; transformational leadership; leadership ethics; best practices case leadership; role of leader for health team development and application for primary health care management

Sustainable Development in ASEAN (2 credits)

Course content :
Current development, dynamism, and comparative perspectives of sustainable development in ASEAN, integrated approaches of ASEAN's and its member states' economics, politics, security, social, cultural and external relation of ASEAN towards sustainable development. Future development, problems and challenges for sustainable development in ASEAN

Research Methodology in Social Sciences (2 credits)

Course content :
The approaches, methods and processes in the social science research, the basic principles in research, planning and writing the research proposal, building theoretical, writing hypotheses, constructing questionnaires, sampling, collecting data, evaluating and analysing the statistical data, computer application for the data analysis, the method application for writing reports of the researches in social science, ethics in research with human participation
