Additional advantages of the programme

Our department has long been recognized as having a leading programme in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is the first department in Thailand to offer graduate degrees in Biochemistry. Based on Thai university ranking for the year 2005 by Thai Commission on Higher Education (CHE), the department has highest ranked-graduate programme of Biochemistry in the country. Many of our faculty members have been honored with international, national, and university awards. Research activities are always rigorously pursued and are published in international journals every year. Our alumni are currently key players in various Thai scientific communities and industries.

Admission Requirements

 
							 1. Applicants must hold, or expect to hold before enrollment, a bachelors degree in any area of
science, or a bachelors degree in clinical, dental, pharmaceutical, veterinary and other health
sciences with GPA of at least 3.50. Applicants from institutions outside Thailand must hold the
equivalent of a Thai bachelors degree from a college or university recognized by Office of the
Higher Education Commission.

2 Applicants must hold, or expect to hold before enrollment, a masters degree in Biochemistry,
Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or related areas with GPA of at least 3.50.

3 Applicants must meet the minimum English language proficiency requirement set by the
Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.

4 Applicants whose credentials differ from above requirement could apply to the program if the
permission is granted by the Administrative Program Committee in concurrence with the
Faculty of Graduate Studies.
