Workshop Training for Newly Appointed Graduate Program Chairs

On September 26, 2018, the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) hosted a workshop training for newly appointed Graduate Program Chairs, at Faculty of Graduate Studies Building, Conference Room # 408, Fl. 4, Mahidol University (Salaya Campus). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Varaporn Akkarapatumwong, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony, welcomed a total of 130 participants, including Program Chairs, Program Secretaries, and FGS's administrators and staff, and delivered a talk about graduate studies' rules and regulations and procedures essential for newly appointed Graduate Program Chairs. Examples of addressed topics were Program Chairs' roles and their management and case studies from graduate studies' management. Following the session, Dr. Noppadol Wanichworanant, Deputy Dean for Information Technology, and representatives from Information Technology and Database Management Section delivered a presentation about information technology and database management for graduate students. The workshop training was effectively concluded with an active Q&A session.
