Congratulations Team U-Link!
Congratulations Team U-Link! The Team U-Link, composed of students from the MA ASEAN Studies for Sustainable Development Program, was part of the Top 16 teams in the Grand Finals of China-ASEAN New Smart City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and won the 6th spot in the prestigious competition. The finals of the 2020 China-ASEAN Smart City Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Guangxi TV station, Nanning, China on November 20, 2020. The Team U-Link, represented by Vega Fria Postrano, presented their start-up idea in front of offline and online judges composed of the biggest names from business, academe, aviation, government and technology from China and Singapore.
The team's project is a mobile application specifically designed to help international students integrating to their host countries by providing different services that best suit their needs. Faculty of Graduate Studies congratulates the Team U-Link - Vega Fria Postrano, Deepa Parajuli, Chenhao Wan, Khin Nwe Cho and Bawk Seng Lu, all the first batch students from MA ASEAN Studies for Sustainable Development Program. The Faculty also thanks mentors and all those who encourage and help the students to join the event.
