Introduction to biomedical instrumentation; Principle of measurement system, patient monitoring system, therapeutic devices, and electrical safety; Biomedical imaging: Principle and image formation of X-ray, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound imaging, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), prositron emission tomography (PET), and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT); Introduction to medical signal processing and general medical system in biomedical engineering: convolution method, correlation method, C transform, Laplace transform, and filter desig; Interpretation medical signal from spectrum analysis in time domain and frequency domain; Medical signal processing and image processing.
